Someone sold me a brand new cat on ebay for my w124 mercedes - E220 (95 model and has 111 engine) and my first shock was that it would not fit my exhaust manifold - 
the problem is that the new exhaust pipe has twin pipes that are parrallel where they meet the exhaust flange. My existing cat has twin pipes as well but at the manifold ends they are offset so that one flange is in front and other is slightly behind the first one - This I now know is to clear the streering box and suspect that teh new one is for a left handdrive vehicle- Does anyone out there has any idea how I can either have my existing cat converator modified or is there anyone who is looking for one that I have got ??? Any suggestions would be welcome. Bert
