I am having a recondition gearbox fitted and the mechanic has just told me I need a new radiator cos my oil cooler is broken. Does a W126 300SE have an oil cooler and if so how does it work and where is it located?

Yes, its the 2 small pipes at the bottom of rad. Engine oil cooler is built into oil filter housing.
