W126 Parts wanted 1987 300se

Looking for;

• electric window motor for drivers side.
• Drivers Door card pieces - the metal bit around the door release.
• Spare wheel.

Advise needed.

• Just given it a full service and now starting to get a juddery feeling when cruising on motorway, as if it doesn't want to maintain speed?
• On occasion the revs do there own thing and can cut out?

Work carried out so far!

The main thing I'm experiencing now is a motion (at 60 - 70 on the motorway) that feels like someone is gently rocking the seat back and forth;
As if it can't keep a constant speed?
Also;

• could it be the new liquids/parts are settling?
• At idol the revs sometimes increase then it dies?
• The gear shift is jumpy heavy when accelerting at speed, around town its smooth?
• I'm no mechanic but possibly it's not breathing properly?

Managed 175miles of half a tank since service!!!

Work carried out to date:

At garage after collection.

• Refitted exhaust.
• New plugs (found 4 & 6 knackerd and not firing).

My dad and me:

• Oil Flush
• New Oil
• New Oil filter
• New Sump plug/washer
• Engine stop smoke
• Engine stop leak
• Rad Flush
• Fresh water and Anti-freeze
• New Air filter
• Carb cleaner
• Oil stop leak to box (for Auto box)
• New wipers
• Bulbs
• Checked pads - OK!
• New tyre

To do:

• Tried fixing ventilation. Blower not working, Drivers elec window motor blow. Decided to replace that only. Need to find one or poss remove?
• Raise money.
• Get sponsored.

It has been suggested: 'I'd say it's fuel.Try a new petrol filter and running a lot of redex through the tank'.


That had crossed my mind as somthing to change when we where tinkering before but I could not find it. All I could see was two large rubber pipes feeding the carb, Where is the filter?

What about HT leads od rotor arm, could these cause the problem?

Also; When under the bonnet I found an unidentifired device. It is positioned in the tray behind th bulkhead, near the wipers. It is small, black, has a wheel button that can be rotated and has letters printerd in it. Any idea???
