I need to change to oil in my car; the oil in there is thick and black. Anybody know how I change the oil, and how many litres should I fill in there? Thanks

iF you don't have ramps, rum the car up on some wood about 100 mil thick, take of the plastic cover under the engine, undo two 10 mil bolts, then you will see the drain plug at botttom of sump, get oil warm first on a run, drain out, your filter is housed under a plastic cover, with a hexaganol nut on the top, renew that with the two rubber rings, Use semi synthetic oil, and if not sure how much put in about 3 litre, then check, do final check after you have started the engine, so as to fill the filter Roy It says in my handbook oil capacity with filter 7 litre

Open Oil filler cap before draining
Its a good idea to rub a bit of oil over the rubber seals on the new filter, and fit hand tight.
Also, when replacing the sump drain plug, put on the new washer supplied with the filter, and don't over-tighten.
