thanks!!!!!
I would be really grateful if someone could please send me the instructions too!
Many Thanks
Hi,
This is my first post and request for help. I've seen by the thread that this is a common problem (seat belt buckle damaged speaker grill).
It would be appreciated if I could be sent instructions as to how I can remove the door trim in order to replace the broken speaker grill.
My e-mail address is I look forward to hearing from someone shortly.
Kind regards,
Ally
As the broken speaker grill is such a common fault, and judging by the requests, a lot of people struggle removing the door panel on the W203 coupe, could Malcolm post the instructions as a sticky or similar which would save him having to send numerous e mails to us all.
And yes, my drivers door speaker grill is broken too!!
Hi,
Just been quoted £350 by Mercedes garage to replace my 2 cracked speaker covers caused by the old seat belt issue. Incidentally I had the seatbelts replaced under the cars warrenty but they wouldn't replace the speaker covers even though the damage had been caused by the seat belts not retracting.
Can someone (Malcolm !) advise on the cost of buying the replacement parts and the instructions for fitting. Model C180 kompressor SE Coupe Auto 2006. Hope you can help.
