W203 rear disc change + auto gerbox oil /filter change

Anybody know if there is anything specific i should know before change my rear discs and pads on a 53 reg c200k?

I have had a look through the forum and found some good threads on changing discs but nothing specific for the above model.

Its looks like a job i am capable of and would usally refer to a manual, but cant find one for this model. So any specifics appreciated.

Also same for transmission fluid and filter. But im not to sure where to start on that one, yet!

Rear brakes are the same for all mercs mostly, so if you've read the other threads you should be fine.

The transmission fluid change is a little more complicated. The filter is accesseble behind the oil pan, you will need a new gasket. The fluid is filled through the dip stick tube, and measured with a workshop dip stick, which you can get from mercs, there are loads of threads about this, have a read.

The calipers have to be removed as always when changing disc. Do not let it hang on the hose, and the rest as ellsy above,,you will need to back off the parking brake so that the disc-drum will clear the shoes.
