W203 C220 CDI (2002) Is this job an easy DIY or is it a royal pain in the a**e? Going to give it a try tomorrow so need to be able to complete the task before needing the car for work (1st day back in 2013) :(

Fiddly but not difficult. Be careful of the fuel pipes that run nearby..

There's a very detailed DIY kicking around -ISTR it's for the C270 but says the C220 is exactly the same (or it's the other way round). A search on here should find it.

    for the thermostat change.

As mentioned, no too hard. Just mindthe plastic fuel line... particually the 'T' section... ( i snapped it here, (and on a longbank holiday weekend ))

Take your time, it doesnt take too long :)
