Good evening
I bought myself a c200 w204 at a risk of knowing the engine light was on. Done a thourough check at the sale at moderate expertise.
There are many problems but will make different threads.
The error codes were plentiful but it turns out the only code that reoccur is 2373 an injection error quanties (range 2). The car struggles on power without the turbo and seems sluggish. The revs climb quickly but the car is flat until the turbo hits.
If the turbo maxes out the car goes into limp mode.
I've disconnected the egr valve to see if this triggers limp mode under a different circemstance, but it doesn't. There are no obvious puffs of smoke, idles slightly unbalanced causing an overall vibration but smooth on revs.
What could this be? A full injection system? One injector?
Ive read these need programming?
Just hoping there is something I can try, fix or do before getting into paying for the full shabang.
Any of you kind gentleman have any tips?
