I took delivery of my 2012 C63 Saloon almost two weeks ago. It has 61k miles and Full Mercedes History.

The issue I am having is a jerkiness/stutter when accelerating at low speeds, for example around a car park or pulling away from a junction. It is much more noticeable when the car is upto temperature and has been running for a while. When the car is cold it runs much better and smoother.

The gearbox oil was changed in 2017. It also had the gearbox software update done in 2019. I have since done the 'soft' gearbox reset but no luck.

It also has a bit of a droning/vibration noise when driving. I thought it was the tyres but they are all at the correct PSI. The car is under warranty and is going into Mercedes in a few weeks time for a diagnosis. Does anyone have any idea what it maybe? There are no leaks under the car either....

What fuel are you using? Although it is less likely the source of your problems it is important to measure any issues against a fixed baseline. Correct fuel is a good start?

So fuel isn't likely an issue then and to be honest most engine issues would be showing a warning light or EML.
Is the problem the same in straight line and corners. I'm thinking differential may be the issue.
Is yours limited slip diff?
When was diff oil changed (should be at or around 40 or 60k)?

Guessing on MCT unit problems with those symptoms. Is it worse in comfort?

Yes MCT. Yeah mines worse in comfort as it uses lower rpms more. It’s like a slack range from 1000-1500rpm where it seems to partially engage the clutch but this creates a surging effect.

Unlikely to be anything to do with intake manifold corrosion then, which is a good thing!

Doesn't sound like engine to be honest. Gearbox / MCT issues more like.
If it was mine I'd drop the pan and change gearbox filter and oil. Taking careful note of how much oil comes out. And make sure it was a 100% full oil change.
Careful inspection of the dwarf magnets too.

I’m thinking the same, possibly over or under fill? It’s been 30k since it was last changed so maybe worth doing it again.
