Hi guys
Sorry to bring this back up but am i right thinking the power for the Horn, Radio controls, Airbag, etc would be on the (after) the Clock Spring.. And the Wipers, Indicator stalk and the Steering Angle sensor are fed (Before) the Clock Spring?
Wipers, Indicators, steering angle sensor all work..... Air bag, Paddle change, Radio controls, Horn etc on the steering wheel do not. So im guessing it is the Clock Spring? £330 from Mercs.
Havent yet worked out how to test this fact!
If i remove the unit i can see there is the 8 pin connector for feed in (from loom that travels up the column).
Was gonna try checking continuity to the 2 clear connectors on the other side of the clock spring (that the steering wheel aligns with)?
Cheers guys, just dont want to spend the £330 if its not that!
