W204 pre face lift led headlight upgrade

Hi guys bought an led headlight upgrade for my w204 says plug and play but when I've plugged them in they don't even come on plugged obd scanner in says theres a short on both headlights, do they need coding or is there another problem ? Thanks

Contact the seller, they’re an aftermarket unit so there’s no such coding available

LED headlamp bulbs in a 2011 car might be an MOT fail. Only legal in pre-1984 cars, I believe. I don't know how often they get picked up by the testers though...

Ye I was going for the full headlight upgrade not the bulb upgrade the headlights are legal as from factory they're put on cars so I believe they will be fine, I know changing bulbs are illegal not heard anything about the headlight itself
