W204 Question

Hi guys, has every Mercedes W204 C class got the 30 pin iPod connector in the glovebox or was this an extra?

I have one - but from the above I guess it was an extra, one of the many optional extra boxes the first owner ticked when he ordered the car. However. I have never used it as I have never owned an Ipod!
