- W205 2015 C180 bluetec 1.6 Diesel
Hi All
I have a 2015 W205 1.6 manual Diesel Bluetec. When the fuel level goes low...not on 1st (amber) warning... but on the 2nd warning, when Fuel Pump symbol goes red, it no longer tells you the remaining mileage and white bar flashing ...the EML comes on, if you drive for even only 1 or so miles. It never comes on at any other point. The car is not or never is sluggish, nor in limp mode...it's simply the EML turns on.
I have a cheap scanner to turn it off ...the code (from memory p2463) relates to dpf and soot accumulation but there is nothing wrong with it, again never sluggish nor in limp mode...this only ever occurs on the 2nd low fuel warning (never the 1st amber warning) . Faulty dpf / box / or exhaust temp sensor ? I think there's 2 of these on exhaust , one before one after dpf...not sure if they're called dpf or nox or temp sensor..
I mentioned it at last service Mercedes found nothing it was also in for a nox software update at the time...again nothing noted by Mercedes.
It's just annoying, it's not causing any performance issues.
