W208 Parking Sensors Replacement

OK, I had the car serviced at the weekend and the guy hooked up the diagnostics and told me that one of my parking sensors has given up.

Are these sensors common to more models than just the W208?

Anybody know the approx price of a replacement sensor and do ytou have to specify them at a certain colour or can you paint them yourself?

In his diagnosis of the problem did he tell you if it was front or rear, and isolate it to the particular sensor?

Yes. I have it narrowed to a particular sensor so I know which one is to be replaced.

use a long stick the something nailed onto the end, you can then stand by the car and find the dud one.

Re the painting just a mist spray to give the colour is all that is needed. if you put on too much paint they will not work
