Ok guys...need some help here..

E300 Diesel..(97) W210.

ETS warning comes on ....then a little while later the yellow ABS triangle lights up..glows, goes off and so does the ETS warning. Then..(sometimes stationary - sometimes moving,) the EDC warning message comes on and the engine cuts out. Sometimes it restarts itself as we go along....other times, I have to pull over (tricky) and then start the engine on the key.

Have replaced brake light switch, and solenoid on the side of the fuel pump. To no avail.

Now the engine has taken to just cutting out without any warning lights coming on at all. Sometimes stationary idling and other times on the move. Took it to me local garage for a diagnostic wotsit and there were no faults recorded on the system.

Any ideas?

Do have the batteries checked for the correct voltage, the one under the rear seat should have 12.5 volts on it before you start the car first thing, with engine running there should be 13.8 volt.

Thank you for that, but the battery is brand new, full of charge and the alternator has the correct output.
