I was always very happy with mine too!
Sometimes regret flogging it - when I think of the depreciation I could have saved, I really should have run it for another year and put another 30k on it.
Thats the thing - nobody ever comes on a forum to say how great their car is, only when they have a problem.
Well, on the same vein,
MY 211 IS BRILLIANT!!!!!!!
Sorry, no electrical problems, breakdowns, odd warnings on the computer or frequent safe mode excursions. I jump in, turn the key and we're off. The SBS hasn't exploded, the stereo hasn't crashed and the key works every time. All the windows go up and down when I press the buttons, she doesn't p.ss oil all over the place when parked, the turbo hasn't spun off its bearings, she stops instantly when i hit the big pedal and takes off like a rocket when I stamp on the other one. Nothing rattles, buzzes or falls off. The gearbox changes seamlessly. The heated seats haven't electrocuted me and the memory seats haven't crushed me. The lights come on and go off on their own (mostly when I'd expect them to). The rain sensor, now that it ranges from slow intermittent to flat out is even more one of the best gizmos ever. Even the lights come on if its raining.
My 210 WAS (mostly) BRILLIANT and my dad tells me that my old 202 is still BRILLIANT!!
I have a Merc like that too. Its a gorgeous CL, sits in a red transparent boxand is a 1:18 scale model. A 2003 that does like yours seems quite rare. Dont speak too soon!!.
