W211; should the SRS fault warning clear by itself or does it need to be reset?

Having replaced the clock spring, I ran the car without the airbag to test it but now the SRS warning has remained with the airbag in place

Pretty sure iCarsoft can do that,
I don't think Torque can.

As above it needs resetting with a diagnostic tool. Torque won't do it.

iCarsoft i980 will reset it .... it reset my R Class after the seat was removed for retrim

Thanks, I'll get it plugged in. I was going to put the old clock spring back to see if the fault went away, so, saved me one job.
