Hi All,

I'm mulling over the possibility of buying a second hand W211 Estate (E320 CDI), I'm guessing at about £22-23K (ish), however I'd like to know what sort of toys are standard and what are possibilities, to that end...

Is there anywhere I can get a spec sheet for Avantgarde and Elegance for 2004/2005 and a list of what options were available?

I tried a search but came up blank.

Many thanks in advance

Jim

HI & Welcome,

Not a great deal is standard to be honest with you. (It also depends in which country you are as to what is standard) AC is standard apart from that almost everything else is upgradeable. Whilst the face-lift W211 is different and has more toys as standard you can always go to the MB site and configure a new W211 as that way you can get an idea of what is optional.

If it's any help, I recently purchased a 2005 E320cdi for 21k with the following 'extras'

Parktronic
Comand APS
Full leather
Heated seats
Split/Fold rear seats (with ski storage facility!)
Full Climate control

..and all the usual bells and whistles.

I've got a PDF file of the E-Class Saloon effective from October 2004. Elegance and Avantgarde trim should have been very similar between the Saloon and the Estate.

If you send me a private message with your email address I can send it to you.

Many thanks for the replies.

Didn't think about looking at the MB site - Doh! :-? and good point on location (my details now updated).

DC_Insider, many thanks PM on it's way. EDIT - nope, can't do a PM to you (maybe there's a forum limit on newbies doing PM's??), I've enabled my "receive E-Mail from forum members box", if you could click my profile and mail me via that it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Jim
