Hi Everyone
Six weeks of ownership and beginning to wish I still had my Porsche, which never let me down, never had an issue.
Brief history:
Random Limp Mode on motorway journeys. Resets if the car is restarted.
Miss-fire on ALL cylinders under heavy acceleration. Seems okay after injectors were reset by dealer.
Random Eco Mode Stop Start. Hardly ever works even when up to temp. If it does work only cuts the engine for 15 - 20 sec before restarting.
Parking sensors work when they want, no lights at all and on the reversing camera shown in red. (makes me laugh so random)
Rear brake lines badly corroded on a three year old car??? (going to be replaced by dealer next week)
Flat battery for no apparent reason - used wife's car to jump start.
Dealer is mystified as the car stores no error codes if switched off.
So engine seems to be fine (but I still have confidence issues) As advised on here, put some Millers Injector Cleaner through and now running on premium diesel. Fingers crossed
My thoughts are now drifting towards failing battery. From what I have read the smaller battery in the boot does everything except run the starter motor. Voltage seems fine at 12.6V. Front main lead acid battery has a good charge 12.2V cold and 13.4V running. Though just for piece of mind connected my C-Tech Smart Charger independently to both batteries. Aux battery was fully charged on connection. Starter battery is still on charge after a day and a half and still not charged...
Starting to wonder if it is faulty / failing and not holding its current.
Plus could you advise if this could cause any of the above problems?
