W218 code 4468 L6/2 rpm sensor

Hi. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue. Car was fine then the esp/abs lights come up and the steering felt weird. Turned the car off and on again and it went away for a few minutes. I don’t want to go buying sensors or anything before i get advice. I did read it’s a seal on the hub gets clogged up because of a rusted out brake disk guard. Thank you

I dont have a 2013 Cls 350.
How about using a can of Brake Cleaner on all the four brake discs and taking it on from there.
