Hey, first of this forum has been a huge help trying to understand my 722.6 issues. I have this issue going on as depicted in the YT video i made (attached).
At any revs clicking the Comfort/Sport button on the W220 causes a drop in RPM one way and a harsh *GUDUGG* when going the other way from Comfort to Sport.
Other symptoms are cold rattling coming from around the TC + Judders which resonate (come and go), they correspond to shaking on hwy speeds. Also very harsh reverse and drive engagement. If the veh is only very slightly rolling backwards and you shift into D its as if a you just hit a curb. Same with going into reverse. It is so harsh its almost as if your wheels hit a boulder. The car stops dead in its tracks. Shouldnt there be a bit of a relaxation in that D->R engagement. The transmission checks out A-Okay on SDS.
A pic of my almost 500,000km driven W220. Has been my company car. Flawless miles. The odo says 199ish thousand kms but odo was changed and ECU + EIS along with it so mileage is not correct.
