Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this, but wasn’t sure….. Anyway:

I am fitting a replacement headlamp washer pump in the washer fluid reservoir. I have got a new rubber grommet thing with it. The rubber grommet fits into the hole in the reservoir, then the pump fits into the grommet. All push fit.

My question is; Should I use any grease or sealant when assembling this or should I just rely on the plastic to rubber push fit and avoid any contaminants ?

Thanks
Matt

These things are not normally sealed Matt, but a litle silicon grease would do no harm
