What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Took out my Instrument Cluster today to see if my "CEL" had blown because I noticed that one did not illuminate when The Ignition was turned on.
But although I can see that there is a place for one if I shine a light from the front, along with the "Brake" and "SRS" there is in fact no Bulb, and no place for one either...??? Even took the Back Cover off to see if it was hiding under that, but no, nothing!

How strange.....

Oh, and just as a matter of interest the C/L and Soft-Close has blown its Fuse.

Unlocked it this morning, jumped in, drove to the shops,opened the Door, got out and went to lock it - nothing! Just the Alarm arming!

It's been working perfectly without incident for the last 2 weeks!

This bitch has a mind of its own I tell you! So I've just left the Fuse out now after blowing 3 more!

This could be me right now!!!

Lol it is a snapshot from one of our CCTV cameras, wheelie bin wife put out to stop trucks using the drive as a turn around, disadvantage of living in a Cul de Sac detailer relevant to the post..

Cleaned the Clk Windows inside , put 2 reflective jackets inside the car as well . Why has he done this I hear you say .
Well , I've done it because looking at this gorgeous weather I thought I wonder what northern France is like ? We'll it's just the same , so I've booked an quick 2 day trip (ferry) to visit a couple of war graves (Thiepval and Loos) to trace 2 relatives , and a nights accommodation (maybe in Bruges ?)
Ferry , Dover/Calais £42 car and 2 return .

I must make the time on one of my France trips to do likewise.

Simple wash and dry today after months of the weather being too poor/cold. Looks nice now!
