Also had to put fuel in today after 600 miles - whats that about?

You’ve got a diseasal it’s what they do..

Only cure is a V8, then you can pass every fuel station but the next one

Gave up trying to update my Becker Map Pilot unit! When I got the SLK it was advertised with Sat Nav but was only pre-wired for one but the dealer admitted the error and chucked one in. I had 45 days to do the free update so thought I'd better get on the case. Plugged in to my Surface Pro and after some argy bargy it came up with the registration options - Canada or US. I've got a compass anyway...

Bought an 2018/19 update from eBay. £21.99 Was a bit dubious about it so after connecting to computer I copied all the original files just in case. As it happens the update worked a treat.

Replaced the Rear Discs and Pads with the Brembo ones that I got given with the C180K Coupe that I never got around to putting on - FYI the R170 and the W203 C180K Coupe have the same Brakes you know! (Front and Rear).

I've spent the week in Saudi Arabia, where I had the great pleasure of Inspecting the three garages (more like aircraft hangers) containing King Abdullah's private fleet of cars. Quite a lot of Mercedes. His favourite was an S600. He had several.

Spent a little while deleting all the destinations saved on the car Comand I have just bought.
Very intuative menus and easy to understand. Phone paired, contacts downloaded, radio stations saved, now how I want it.

Been a while since I've been on here (new job is the main reason), but quick update:
MOT passed, but needed a suspension arm, 2 tyres and front brake pads! Still, all done now and been going up and down the M4 most days.
Only had the top down a couple of times (sometimes was just too hot!) though so will have to rectify that going forwards.
Oh, and been using the bluetooth audio connection I had put in a while back pretty much every day - works well and very glad I did that.
Now thinking of what to do to get ready for the colder weather - definitely some lubricant on the rubber seals as been a while since I did that; Gliptone on the leather etc.
