Ran the 210 for about 15 minutes to recharge the battery (Ctek is on the 230) and circulate some fluids.

Odd it only has a MOT history from 2016?
And,
Basic history check
Status:Unavailable
Sorry, we're missing some information so we're unable to complete a full check at this time.
Japanese import?
I thought it odd too and very possibly an import, interesting nonetheless.
Just thinking my mum was on about getting a new Audi A3 maybe I can persuade her a C32 is a much better investment

Registered in 2016 too, so maybe an import or rebuild - V5C issued Feb 20...

Gentlemen... I appear to have had a brain-fart!

About to pop the old CTEK battery conditioner on the UnMerc... and had a wee moment! I don't need to disconnect the battery from the car first, do I??? (I'm blaming lack of caffeine for this one!)

Thanks BC. I must've done it a hundred times over the years, and for some reason this morning... suddenly felt the need to question myself!

Normally have to take the battery out of Mrs RH's MINI run-around as its parked out front on the road, and don't like leaving it with boot open!

I don’t either buddy , both my cars now have those quick connect fly leads connected to the batteries to make charger connection a doodle

Not sure how the battery & tray is packaged in the UnMerc, could add those if needed I suspect. It's parked out back, so secure enough to leave bonnet ajar for a few hours.

It’s just that my E class battery is in the boot under two layers of flooring and the CLK is underneath the pollen filter housing , it just saves on dismantling to get to the terminals

Great service from Stewart & Wisbey.......Car dropped off this morning for its large service scope and now back in the garage. (after top down drive home)
I was very impressed with the C220CDI loaner with 194000 odd miles on it, quite lively and nice to ride in. Is this what a Classic drives like?.......:)

Put the SLK battery on charge as the service showed 23% state of charge, but 89% state of health. Slow charge recommended as the battery is 5 years old. Not sure the charger does slow charge? Might have to use the other charger and set it to 6volt IMG_20200415_122922.jpg

Funnily enough... got around to doing the very same this morning! Popped CTEK on AGM - battery showing 11.2V... up to 13.3V currently, waiting for the conditioning indicator jobby to get back up to full(ish)!

It took about 10 minutes to go from 12.4V to 13.3V so I am guessing this isn't a slow charger
