Getting a new windscreen fitted on my 2007 e320 estate after a stone chip turned into a 10 inch crack. Its taken Autoglass over two weeks to get around to doing it. Not impressed with that dire turnaround.

Not over keen on the big star logo though but it's a nice screen cover! All we need now is some sun! Or snow!

, i think the player is ok , its just the bit on the bottom where the power / fibre optic goes in thats damaged but i really didnt want to have to swap them over in case im wrong OR i break something and invalidate the warranty

Picked up the R172 from the village garage (it's a handy 100 yards away) I took it in due to an injector that had started chuffing. They replaced all 4 washers/seals plus new stretch bolts - genuine MB parts, did a recharge on the air con and gave it it's MOT which was due next month. It passed the MOT with no advisories and the car is livelier than ever. All in £286.00 so can't grumble.

A 60 degree centigrade wash one hour and ten minutes,

which was strangely equivalent to the time I spent looking for them.

I can though report they still work after line drying in the pockets of the jeans I left them in.

The households chief scientist handed them to me and waltzed off !!!!

I suspect they may be on their last days.

I've finished off polishing the car this morning and I am surprised how much thinner some of the panels are on a W205 against my old W204.

I know the W205 is a lighter car and the weight has got to come off somewhere but the bonnet for example is almost paper thin in comparison to the W204.
