100% they will ...after a trip in east Europe, last September, I’ve collected €1145 in speed tickets , trough out 6 countries, 24 hours drive ...and 2 nights in premier inn (my wife found them in the letter box ). All EU countries have representative offices in London specialised in collecting unpaid penalties, road taxes etc.

The Dutch have been experts for years! Back in 1979 we were lent an house in Oman by an English guy who, with his Dutch wife, flew back to Holland to visit her parents. At Schipol arrivals he was told "you have an outstanding speeding ticket that must be paid before we will allow you into the country!!".

Treated the car to another dose of Sonax about an hour ago. Now we have a thunderstorm but at least it's nice watching the rain bead off the car!

Reinstalled the next base DAB, wasn't happy with the wire routing so they now run under the dash all hidden and the ariel runs along the bottom of the windscreen so better reception

Tried out a new feature for the first time today. We had a day out and, while we were eating a sandwich in the car at lunchtime with the sun roof open, it started to rain a little. I didn’t do anything immediately and, a minute or so later, the car closed the sun roof all on it's own. Well, I am easily pleased.....

Took it to MB Northampton to repair suspected NSF tyre puncture.

Turns out, the TPMS Valve seat is corroded and is leaking air.

All repaired, for now, but I guess I should start budgeting for a full all wheels refurb - the last one was four years ago, so not too bad.

Whilst waiting for the work to be done - had to stay outside, as no waiting in the dealership - watched a brand new GT in lovely grey colour, inspected and loaded onto a transporter Anyone waiting for a new toy?
