Washed both filthy cars , hosed them down in the rain . Cleaned up the E class Santa hat which was grubby from last weeks Wales run

It was an eBay from MB Newcastle or Edinburgh 3-4 years ago , for the princely sum of £5

I can see at night again....... the cool blue intense look better but you struggle to see them on some if the roads as the street lights are all that colour temp now

Exciting times here. Did the weekly wheel wash after three weeks and as the sun continued to shine and I'd noticed a bottle of RainX I'd bought some while back which I forgotten about (ie put it somewhere where it wouldn't be forgotten), I cleaned the screens of both cars with meths and gave them two coats of RainX on a cloth. I haven't used it for years so no doubt I'll find out soon how effective it is now.
Too much excitement, I've retreated for lunch in case I start thinking about car washing

Drove it in the dark for the first time since I can’t remember when - and got excited again watching the ILS do it’s dancing! (I need to get out more )

It is strange that my old MB had the ILS but my new on hasn't I found that it was a bit prone to getting confused with the reflection from road side signs and on coming traffic though, otherwise very good

Bit of driving in the dark for me as well, this was the return journey, Still haven't got it over 60mpg yet...
