They're not made of steel , nor diamond cut
Are you refering to my post re adding clear lacquer to the kerbed wheel? If you are then what difference does that make, the rest of the wheel stills needs protection from water getting under the remaining lacquer.

Looks like you got off lightly there Alistair, hope your okay?
Yeah I'm fine. The passenger in the Honda had a sore chest as did the driver of both cars. No airbags went off in the Honda interestingly.
Roll bar operated on the SL. Both centre rear parking sensors are pushed in and possibly damaged. Left tailpipe pushed forward (mag be just the trim though pipe is also slightly crushed. Left tail light is damaged. Bumper looks like it may not be sitting quite normally.

Good news is no apparent damage to boot lid and roof still operates normally.

As it goes not too bad externally (it remains to be seen if there is any damage under the bumper).

What’s all the “soot” on the back of the SL?

I’d expect some crush damage to impact absorption bits behind the bumper unfortunately

Soot? Road muck....
Yes I'm expecting bent crush components when the bumpers removed.

2 rear tyres on the 215 , at which point i found both rear disc shields were touching the brake disc , not good ,also the central locking pump also stops the fuel flap from opening, quite a day

Bad luck Alistair. At least nobody was hurt.
I suspect there will be more damage revealed under closer inspection.

Today I swore to her I would be more caring giving and pay much more attention to her needs, hit her with a hammer a few times cursed quietly and walked away ashamed that I couldn’t turn her on anymore :(((( turned the key and got a clickety click and felt like a pr***
just had injector#1 resealed and now having trouble getting fuel through to the injector and her starter motor is squirming with a click thereafter! Replaced fuel filter last night and got a face full of diesel as her indoors came outdoors to prime with 2nd key position to my screams of off off offfffff ffs lol
Brand new battery yesterday too!
hit starter a few times with hammer and got half a turn through key then stuck again!
I don’t like getting buses to pick up shopping for 7 people especially when I’m having to walk by her on way to bus stop..... grrrrrrrr
Sorry rant over :(
