Went shopping in the SLC yesterdays only 10 miles each way, first time since October. The local shops are only just over half a mile away so we go on the pushbikes.

180mm rain in two days. Floods everywhere. Land of drought, fire and flood.......not driving anywhere.

Don't blame you oigle my cousin lives in Sydney and its a bit wet there too, although she is more central Sydney.

I've copied this idea from another forum that I use (A Ford Transit Forum) of all things!

I quite look forward to getting the e-mail notifiers that someone has posted something... De-badged their van, polished it, new wheels maybe... even a new air freshener....

Just a bit of fun really....

So, come on...

Well it went like this; In the car ready to go Mrs OS forgets something, "I'll be back in a minute". OK routine switch car off and wait, she eventually returns with forgotten whatever and I try to restart. Nothing, all lights on key turns and won't come out of ignition.
So I say "Bl@@dy EIS", she says "It wasn't icy this morning".
I start beating the steering column thinking to release the lock, she thinks I've lost it.
No difference, after a minute I notice I've switched off the car in gear, nonchalantly put it in neutral and start, mutter about fixing it.
So today I beat the steering column:shock:o_O

Finally think I have cracked the radiator hose from falling out of the radiator. 5 times now the silly hose has come off and lost all my coolant
New hose and now a new clip fitted and still the hose pops off. So today I got hold of a normal hose clip and tightened this around the clip. The radiator hose has stayed connected :D
Also fitted my free storage box courtesy of Telebass

Managed to get out in the S63 today, first time for ages and not too far unfortunately.

Blood test was the initial reason as my Doctor's been pestering me about it for a while, so got that sorted. I then had to call into the local Lexus dealership, so thought I may as well get both things done in one hit. Managed a total of 16.5 miles altogether, which is the furthest I've gone in anything this year so far and I only used the Scoop as the roads were dry.

It's now back in the garage on the lift ready to be treated to a good dose of cleaning. Again...

The magnificent sum of 2,300 Matt.

It's spent more time in the air in my garage than it has on the road. In fact it's spent more time in the air than it has on the ground generally. No flat spots on the tyres though hopefully.

Back to reality in the next few weeks all being well.

Test fitted some beta R230 PSE pump mounts. These are designed to lift the pump off the boot floor and enable you to get rid of the stupid foam around the pump.

They look like they should work well although the rearmost one needs lowering and both need widening slightly.
