Hello Jim, I wish I had been more reluctant to take my car out after spending so much time cleaning it...don’t you just love wet country lanes and tractor drivers coming out of muddy fields...
Les, I live in the middle of an agricultural area...tell me all about it !!!!....aside from the usual silage bale and fertilizer ( that's the polite word for it) trailers, being pulled by massive tractor's ( 4/5 steps to access the cab ) on secondary road's, forcing you into the ditch, where the mud become's a secondary worry....... But now you understand where I am coming from .

How was the Golf?
Water is magnetic to glof ballsThe golf course was beautiful, my golf less so. The front nine are criss-crossed by river and stream, so much ammunition needed.
Done the engine mounts on the old girl ready for her Belguim trip coming up!! First time she has ever been silky smooth since I have owned it!!!
"A cobblers kids are always the worst shod"Mechanics and panelbeaters own cars that are work in progress, then when we finish them they usually get sold

Can visualise it now "Community Speedwatch" on horseback holding up traffic, crapping all over the roads out with their speed guns clocking the tractors as they drive through the village!......and that is besides the horse $h1t that the rah, rah horsey types leave all over our roads.
Last week, I was travelling behind a farmer pulling a trailer with one of those massive tractors and he lost control of the trailer and was lucky not to lose control of everything. Many of them drive like idiots and we have lots of complaints in the village about the speed of farming equipment through the village -
