I could do with those, my fixed key did not last

Got back from the test centre and thought I'd find out why I could hear a slight ticking noise coming from under the engine cover.
Injector leaking on number 5
Pulled it out, fitted a new seal, popped the return lines back on with my heavy fisted hands and guess what?

Yesterday I cleaned all the roof seals etc on my SL 350 and today treated them with Krytox.

Washed it! Going to have to take the wheels off and clean them thoroughly as I can't do them justice whilst on the car

Good job. My display is beginning to fade. Where did you get your new LCD? I miht have to change it in the spring.( It's always in the spring)

No body, they never worked when i purchased the car, I fitted new batteries and still didn't respond.
It was just a coincidence that they worked after my lad borrowed the car and I showed him that the key didn't work. Low and behold it worked
The next day the same key didn't work. My neighbour has said he will try a reprogram for me. I think there is more to this than meets the eye

Hmm , not good , i did have a key in my old clk sorted by RMK , it was 80 quid , obvs these 2 new ones were quite a bit more

Open the key and look for dry joints, older keys will likely have been dropped many times.

I was in Lidl and got some gummipflege. Never used it before, never seen the need as never had issues with seals, but I thought what the heck, got it and applied it to all the seals.

Be prepared for them to make further enquiries as to the age and condition of the damaged wheel/tyre, my claim a few Years ago extended to suspension damage as well and after the inquisition they calculated I had 50% wear on an existing tyre and only offered 50% of a replacement cost, if you're only claiming the cost of a tyre possibly they won't bother but have you had your wheel and suspension components checked as well?

Tyre was 5 months old, have the receipt.

Wheel and suspension both inspected with no damage BUT tracking has to be done
