What is the pipe with the sleeve over it. When I turn ignition on but without turning over the engine this pipe hisses then stops after about 20 seconds.

I have these codes showing and am trying to locate the problems without paying for help as I lost my job from the covid lockdown.

Also I have esp and abs in operative and limp mode. Not sure if driving with the spare wheel can trigger the wheel speed sensor?

most likely a fuel pipe,as the pump primes itself on Mercedes for around 20 seconds. if no tpms sensor in spare wheel and the others have , it may well be an issue.

The hissing stops if I put pressure on the under side of that pipe where the sleeve is covering. How do I know if wheels have rpms sensor. Abs and esp where working for weeks with the spare wheel on only thing that changed that I know of is I booted car down motorway to try getting the dpf to regen

Is it a space saver spare?

That silver pipe section looks like it should have something fitted over it , like a pipe ?

Dont under stand. They are fuel lines to the injectors from the fuel rail. Why would pipes have pipes over them

I keep getting turbo boost pressure A performance problem and dpf restricted codes. Will the dpf being blocked restrict turbo performance or is the turbo boost sensor likely bad? Does someone know how to test the sensor with a multimeter? Limp mode some times disappears with a restart but will engage again once I drive or rev it past 3k.

The abs and esp inoperable comes up immediately when I start engine before I even move but I dont get any fault codes for it.

I need to know what that pipe is or a part number cos I have no idea what to buy to replace it.

Screenshot_20200719-133322_Chrome.jpg here a pic of the pipe on a diagram but cant find anywhere what is is for or called as this isn't labelled..... but mine seems to T into what I think are fuel over flow return pipes (I think) that are attached to the sides of the injectors

DPF blocked will send boost faults to the ECU as it happened in my Vito. I just cant remember if its the same code but my code had something about boost performance in it

The pipe section is part of the spill circuit from the fuel injectors. The black plastic tee section has a one way valve with a tiny ball bearing in it. I have had trouble with these before, and a fault code relating to low rail pressure and occasional stalling when slowing down to a halt

From your fault codes I think its much more likely you have a boost leak somewhere. Examine the pipes to/from your intercooler and your intake manifold for black oil misting

As above. It's a fuel return pipe for unused fuel.

A number of things here:
1. Don't exceed the speed limit of the space saver wheel (50mph). The tyre is not designed for that and could fail. Very dangerous.
2. You've been running round on the space saver for some weeks if I understand correctly? The space saver wheel is only an emergency get you home measure. It's usually smaller than the normal wheel. This will compromise ABS, ESP and cruise will not function.
3. You have a boost issue and engine management light in. While these faults are present you will not be able to get the car to regen and the DPF it will fill up. Eventually it will be full to the point a forced regen will be required.
4. You have a low boost condition. This will generate excess soot making the DPF fill even faster.
5. Find the low boost fault first. That could be a failed actuator (I'm unsure if the actuator is electronic on this engine - if so it may have failed). Low boost can also be caused by a split boost hose. The split can be hard to see and the best way to check us remove the hoses to physically inspect. A split hose will need to be replaced. Split hoses are common failures in this engine. If hoses and actuator are good the next things to check is a holes intercooler or failed turbo.
Until you fix it don't drive it.
