what oil should i get

im doing an oil change next week,my car is a 95 c200,it has 123,000 miles on the clock,im thinking of puting casrol gtx 15w40high mileage in it,or castrol edge ow-30,the castrol edge was recommended by castrol on there website,which one should i go for,i havent a clue about oilsst want the best for my car thanks for your help, thomas

thanks simonarius for your help the reg thing doesnt work for me,maybe its because im in ireland,i got an oil recommendation of the castrol site,and it was castrol edge 0w-30ive never used it before on any car ive owned,just want to see which would be the best as the car has high mileage.

Don't rely too much on this link. It shows my car as a W203 instead of a W204!!

GTX is a semi synthetic oil, and a good one at that,,if the engine is not smoking there is not reason why you should not use a fully synthetic oil though this is much more expensive but will go for longer periods without changing
