Have the chance to buy a 1991 J reg 190e 1.8 manual which only has a genuine mileage of......
42,000
Dark blue with cream trim,history,etc.

It's a near perfect car,owned by an 86 year-old.She's had it since 1993,and is the second owner.What should I pay for it realisticly?:?:

No one can answer that question. Look on Auto Trader, find what normal ones go for and then up by what your consinence reckons. At the end of the day, it's worth what someone will pay. Some will see it as just a low mileage old car and others as a classic to be treasured. Prices will vary accordingly.
We have a similar issue with my Grandmas car. Not a Merc but W reg with 13k on it. I've seen prices between £500 and £2000 for the same damn car!
