I would hate to upset you but my 55 plate C200 sport bought 7 months ago for £16000 is now worth £8000, what does that tell you??

I know things are bad but it's gotta be worth more than the 1000 pound i paid for it.I might just keep it as i like the relaxed drive and torque. There are some bargains about. The larger engined newer stuff suffering worse

I over heard a guy talking, that he'd been looking at a two year old Range Rover (50k+ when new) it was sitting on the forecourt at under 15K !

I'd rather not know what my E320 is worth at the miniute.

Cheers

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
If you do not have to sell then dont,, I hardly use my V70r these days, that does about 22 mpg and been 75k miles.

To change it would cost me quite a few £k but what is the point, that car would drop in value too. It is only the difference in fuel, and not all the fuel, the difference in running the 129 SL320 to the SL500 is around £200 per year, or in 10 years £2k, so should I really go and change for a lesser car and spend £10k in the process

a 2000 model wont have dropped in value as much as it misses the higher road tax for big 4x4's which applies 2001 onwards, i've seen older vehicles making better money than later ones because of this.

Hi Malcolm, if your V70R is an estate I would be interested in buying if you don't use it much. Give me a call in the office on 01772 906158 for a chat. Martyn.
