Where to service?

Hey guys,
My 65 C Class is due for service. Mercedes dealers are so expensive. I was thinking of servicing it at Halfords or KwikFit or a local garage. Which one would you prefer? What are the differences?

I would use a local garage and preferably one with star that can read any fault codes and a garage that can update your electronic service record. I wouldn’t go near a Kwik Fit or a Halfords. Sorry .

I’m sure if you put up your location in here someone will be able to give you the details of a good independent garage near to you?

Hello MT65, There is a network of Mercedes specialist Independent garages. They often are staffed by Mercedes trained mechanics and have star diagnostics. When you say where you live, someone will be able to recommend one, I'm sure. Definitely not Halfords or Kwik Fit.

Hello and Welcome,

Halfords & KwikFit see a Mercedes and the ££££ signs come up - They are just about ok for a shopping trolley (although I'd not use them for anything other than an MOT).
They are in no way trained to work on a Mercedes and can quickly run into expensive trouble.
As per above post your location and we can recommend one of our highly recommended Indies - I use MBS in Southampton as they're "local"

Think the OP means it’s a 65 plate (2015) C class, there wasn’t a C65 ever produced
