White smoke blowing from exhausts when starting the engine cold just for few minutes?!

Hi everyone, I recently purchased an E class AMG Night Edition 16 Plate Bluetec 220 with 27.000 miles on it, car runs fine no dash lights I have done the diagnostic checks passed everything, but when I start the engine from cold sometimes it blows white smoke from the exhausts and it seems quite a lot and it lasts for only few minutes and then it seems like normal nothing happened, it doesn’t do it every time just sometimes but I don’t really know what might cause it ? Also the white smoke comes out after driving the car for a bit not straight away as you turn the engine on, I would really appreciate anyone advise on this case.

Usually its because of condensation in the exhaust pipe (White smoke indicates water vapour) , Without being alarmist it can also indicate coolant is entering the combustion chamber which may be because of a head gasket issue.

Hello mate, I appreciate your reply, I have checked the coolant several times and there is nothing that indicates that the coolant has dropped down in level, it’s in the same level as it was.

As above, condensation. If coolant the smoke would hang in the air due to the antifreeze content and would smell more.

Also overfuelling at start up. But if that issue you will smell diesel. If not as above condensation.
