Stulc, there is much on this if you do a search. It appears that if it costs less than £100 and takes less than an hour to do, it's not being done correctly, i.e. castor, camber, toe-in etc. on all FOUR wheels. (Yes, even toe-in on the rears).

I use Wembley Tyres in Willesden, NW London. A four wheel check for castor, camber, toe in/out is around £60. They know what they are doing.

Stulc,
I recently had a set of new tyres on mine and requested the garage to do the tracking, and they told me thay they coudn't do it due to the ESP that is fitted - I had to take it to a main dealer: or they would do it but there would be no guarantee
When i requested a price from said dealer - £108/hr for up to 3 hours labour......
Luckily the new tyres fixed the small anomaly but i dont look forward to getting it done properly.......

Maybe, but lots of cheap things going wrong will probably cost as much as an expensive (merc) one!

I use Jeff Fowkes Wheels in Ibstock, Leics. He uses a laser alignment machine and charges around £40 for a full 4-wheel, castor, camber and toe-in check and simple toe-in adjustment. Any other work is charged on a cost/timecharge at around £40/hr I think
