I have just taken delivery of my new E280 CDi Estate. Very pleased with it but therefore a little puzzled about one aspect of the windscreen wipers. The arc created by the left side wiper blade does not quite reach the arc of the right side blade. Not only does this leave an annoying little triangle of unswept screen in the top centre of the screen but at low speeds (when the water can run down the screen) the water brought over by the left blade runs straight down through the area cleared by the right blade. This means that the screen is rarely completely clear.
Given the care taken over every aspect of the design of this car it seems a strange shortcoming. Do other owners have this problem and has anyone solved it? Is there an adjustment I can get down?
