Yet again!! Harry from Mb Manc

Having driven my cars, my uncle has bitten the MB bug. Having test driven an SLK at MB Blackpool, he was so unhappy with the posturing and slimey sales patter he called me to say he was off the idea of Merc. A quick call to Harry and a deal is struck in no time, yet again he beats the most competitive quote we had seen online,my uncle turns up at MB Manc and is treated like a salient, imtelligent human being, signs up and leaves happy.
That takes my total to 4 people referred, all of whom have matched or beaten the offers given elsewhere, all treated decently and with respect. Credit where its due, he's a good guy and plays with a straight bat.

No, I'm not on the payroll!! I do make sure that I'm as vocal about good service as bad though. It seems that some of the other MB dealers could take a leaf out of Manchesters book!

yes all of my experiences of MB Manchester are all good. Though I have never bought a car from there but there service and parts side are very good. Though now I prefer to use SPR Autos in Stockport as they are specialists in my era of cars and closer to my home.

And it was for exactly the same, among many other reasons I could add, why I went and bought a Porsche. They unlike Mercedes, treated me like a valued human being and understood I need more than a 10 minute flip around the block as a test drive.

On the other hand Porsche even allowed me to Borrow the car for the weekend, after a quiuck 10 minute test drive, with a full tank of petrol and thereby allowed the car to sell its self, handing the keys to me after signing an insurance certificate, at no charge or cost to me. They said go enjoy!! Service and servility, how refreshing, and how it should be.

MB lost a sale and my custom as a result for not treating me as a valued and loyal customer, having spent in excess of 120K over the last 10 years on cars and servicing. Loyalty seems to count for squat. I will never buy another car from them based on this experience.

That said; really chuffed with the Porsche!! and compliments the 32AMG well, as both offer a very different driving experience :lol:
