Just a question regarding the STAR tool to the members who own and know STAR.

Are different FW versions compatible with each other? As in is there a possibility that the garage version is different and thereby genuinely not reading what the member versions are reading? [ I ask out of interest only and to close a loose end]

As I know you will, do let us know how this goes .... beats EastEnders this!

Hi Jackwall and thanks for your input..
Initially it was Malcolms (Television) STAR machine that showed the faults..All of them were cleared except 2 of them..These re appeared when re-scanned..
Next day the car was hooked up to a totally different STAR machine which gave exactly the same results as Malcolms machine.

I take my car in for a "Health Check" this coming Wednesday. I shall ask for a print out of the STAR diagnosis.

I am glad this is better than Eastenders...Please dont mistake me for Phill Mitchell !!!!

Well MB do tell us in their "Rendezvous" welcome packs that MB owners are not expected to accept second best. Yet it appears we are!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the day I visit the Preston MB dealership for "a full health check"..
I shall report whatever they say to me..
I shall of course ask for a print out from the STAR machine..
