Maybe someone swapped the ligh clusters before I bought the car

Sell it & buy an Audi or something, join their forum & give us a break.

Full list of the bulbs you require found here ^^^^^^^^^^↑^^^^^^^ even the facelift was fitted with the same bulbs. If 16w bulbs are fitted the prev keeper must of been a numpty and just threw any old bulbs in they had laid about. Check inside the cluster hole for 2 connections or one , its possible the wrong bulb types are fitted.

Just a thought the bulb is 21/5 , did you just do a subtraction to end up with 16 ?

The reason people ask for a pic is to understand what the bulb looks like and the fitting its in. Not all of us have the same model and year of car as you.

Edit: and they are soldered in their places... other bulbs are 6W like you see one (indicator bulb) in behind

If they are as those they are not replaceable as they are long life xenon filled bulbs.

Yep, but next time there is blown one, I'll try replace one from my 'spare' cluster... ;)

Certainly worth a go. They're soldered in so if you have good soldering skills should be easy enough.

Please take a picture of the rear of you car an point out which bulb it is you need, not remove the cluster. As you say that part number doesn't exist meaning you probably have missed something maybe you have got a batch number and not a part number.

All bulbs are similar, code shown in my pic above.

Could be a great time to look at replacing the filament with an LED perhaps?
Put a load resistor across the back and it should keep the warnings at bay as well.

yes, this is the one, so where can I get some without buying the whole cluster.

maybe I read PH16W as not 16 watts but 21 watts, am I right?

Why do manufacturers do this.... For years standard bulbs have been absolutely fine and cheap as anything (I pay around 25p for standard filament 21w bulbs and around 30p for 21/5w)..... This is just complex crap for the sake of it.... and it obviously isn't that long life if the OPs has blown....
