Spring being fitted today and ....
Rear spring had snapped in two and had partially fallen in on itself so whether or not it broke the rod doesn't really matter, it had to be done. I had not noticed any difference in ride though. Anyway, headlamps pointing where they should be now. £222.38

No self-levelling suspension on mine AFAIK
They've only recently moved there (though they were only 5 miles away before) plus I'm not due back in Suffolk any time soon to see Alex and I couldn't be bothered to drive over to Star in Caversham as that would mean leaving the car there and it's hassle for work.

Next up: grumbling road-speed related noise and friction sound when braking from 70 mph (plenty of thickness on the pads).
I always thought yours was an estate (probably because most are).
I know the AG estates (or maybe all estates) have SLS but I don't think the saloons did

The Michelins they replace only lasted 12,000 miles which is very disappointing, so I hope these fare better.
