I was caught on a Tuesday and letter was in the door on the Thursday.
I doubt if it runs much longer without any word you have been lucky.

Went for a bit of a drive :D

Only managed to cover 25 miles in the first 2.5hrs...:(
Still it meant I got to enjoy my car for longer, did the first 6 hours none stop - I do find my car very very comfortable indeed :)

how does that work pal ??
The app is downloaded from Google Play, it has very recently just undergone an update and is now call TomTom AmiGO. The app contains a database of all the known speed cameras and is updated online. Give it a go, it is very easy to use.

You can also use Waze for speed cameras which also has a database.

7 new tyres in less than 3645mls.
So much for premium tyres, the SLK is now on budgets
The Missus is not a happy bunny.
She asked 'what's the difference between budget and good tyres'??
The price! I said
So from now on, budgets will be the tyre of choice

That is very impressive!!!!!

We don't do things by half :D
Admittedly 2 fronts were fitted by the PO when we purchased the car, we fitted one after the dreaded pot saga, only to discover the other rear had half worn, so second for us fitted. Then a screw found its way into the new rear tyre after 2 days, so 3rd tyre fitted.
MoT time and the front had bulging walls  Decided to ditch the expensive tyres and bought 2 budgets making it 7 flaming tyres!

That's a lot of doughnuts.

I think I would have rather spent nearly 550 quid on the real things :D
Yep nearly 550 quids worth  not to mention the PO 2 new ones

What gets me is that I have budgets on the estate and have been on for 3 years and done over 9000 mls and I have only once pumped up one of the tyres as it was reading 25lbs pressure, and they will be set for the cars 3rd RBRR this year. I also have medium priced budgets on my 2dr car and they have been on the car since 2013, they still go the distance :)

Stopped at a second hand car dealer to look at an R230. It took my eye as I was driving past. 2007, SL500 One owner from new, 31,000 miles, panoramic roof. Silver with a lovely light leather interior. £15,750.

I'd love to see these cars climb in value as their predecessors have done. They're beautiful and they're a wonderful drive.

Prices on AT for the R230 SL500 appear to be going up ever so slightly for the better cared for lower mileage examples. SL55 prices seem to be levelling off. Could just be a blip though.

I'd suspect it's probably just normal seasonal variation where convertible prices drop in autumn and rise in spring.

very true , A few yrs ago went to look at Vw Eos in July it was marked up at £5995. It never sold and I bought it on Christmas Eve for £4250. Guess they didn’t want it sitting about until the spring time.

Since our we dog had pups I have it in the garage with a red 250 watt heat light on for the pups , But when I went into garage this morning noticed my cls had damp up the side it must be condensation from the heat light. will have to get either the dog moved or the car moved.
