Chirping gearbox

Hi everyone. New to the website and new to Mercedes. I just bought a 1 year old a220 AMG line and I love it. One slight problem I have is that when putting the car in to sport mode I can hear a chirping noise when the auto gearbox downshifts?? Not when going up through the gears only going down. Can only explain it as a chirp or squeak?
Has anyone experienced this at all or any idea what it might be?

if you bought it in the last 3 months from a dealer , take it back , consumers act 2015 covers you for any defect

Hi Greg, welcome to the forum The MB dealer is your first stop. The 3 year warranty is transferrable anyway

Have booked it in to the mb dealer. So will see what the outcome is.
Was just interested to know if anyone has experienced this?
