Bouncing door locks

Hi Malcolm, My 2007 CLS seems to have developed the dreaded bouncing door lock on the drivers door. You have been very kind in the past by sending people the fix for this. Could I trouble you again for the 'magic' fix e-mail. Thank you in advance. richard-berridge@tiscali.co.uk

I'm also having this same problem and it is really embarrassing having to get into my own car after numerous attempts to unlock the vehicle whilst getting funny stares from people. The same problem also applies when locking the car and I've set the alarm off many times waking up my neighbours when testing whether the doors have locked or not. I fear that I may have left the vehicle unlocked thinking it's locked.

Can someone please email me the instructions to fix this problem. I would REALLY appreciate it.

I think that anything to damp the mechanism could work, that would just take the bounce out of it
