This has nothing to do with the rear window heater at all.

i have a similar question to post 57

i sometimes hear some ticking and whirring noise too when switching off the car and climate set to auto, if i manually adjust both sides to point to direct air to the front ac vents then no clicking noise, i donuts the car often so i these days i wasnt leaving it on auto,

if a flap is partially sticking is it better to not exercise that particular flap? or should i leave it at auto and keep on exercising it so that it doesnt stick and not worry about occasionally ticking as air blows fine from all vents in all direction.

should i try the reset anyway even if say its working fine? any harm?

thanks

Try it, nothing lost, it seems to work on about 25% of the cars only, going by the feedback on here.

It is not possible to push those two buttons simultaneously in my car. Thank you.
