A160 Issues

Hi everyone
New to the Mercedes and I recently bought a A160 with the ACS gearbox.
I am experiencing a few issues
1. Under sudden hard push of the throttle the car looks like it slips revs up and nothing happens.
If I accelerate slowly there are no issues except on the 5th gear.
2. The heater/air con blows air when the car is moving. How can I check the flaps if they are close properly?
3. I filled the car with petrol and the gauge was showing full tank. I turned it off went home and after 2 hours I started up and the gauge is stuck on 0. When I switch off the car the gauge disappears as per normal

any suggestions guys?

They did have a Semi-Automatic which is a very confusing name. It is a manual gearbox BUT no need to press the clutch pedal when changing gears.

Yes exactly that gearbox. No clutch. The acs module does the pressing of the clutch. All you do is to change the gears. acs is the module.

In that case, the problem with the 5th gear......
Normally, this is because the gearbox oil is LOW. So I would suggest a top up of the gearbox.

Thanks I will do that although I am not sure how the low oil will affect slipping. It happens on the 4th and 3rd as well only though if I press the accelerator hard

If the mileage is above 90000, then it might be a slipping clutch.
Confirm it by doing a hill test.

It has 170k kms.
1,2 gears are good. I haven’t redline it though.
Will I have to replace the flywheel too?

If there is no crunching noise when changing gears, then it is not the module.

I believe I have to bite the bullet on this one and replace the clutch
How about the fuel gauge?

I fiddled with the plug at the back by unplugging it with the ignition on, turn it off and then plug it back on and it was able to show me the correct reading on the fuel gauge for a few seconds. After that it goes back to 0. I also unplugged the battery and now I have check engine light on.
Lol any suggestions?
