Recently, just before Xmas, my missus was about to set off for work and all the lights come on the car (A220 2014) and it wouldn’t start. Long story short, was a flat battery. So that got changed, cut to week later lights back on dash and wouldn’t move. So then alternater got changed, been fine for a while. Last Saturday, lights back on. Would still start but all lights were on. Took it back to our garage, they re-set it and said see how it is. Literally on the way home all the lights come back on.
I know nothing about vehicles so was wondering if anyone has any experience of this happening. Is it simply a matter it needs something resetting properly or is it scrap time ?
